A PERSONAL MESSAGE ABOUT MY PASSION FOR THE WAY WE BUILD HOMES.
I’m Dean Jarvis, founder of VEDA Homes — and this journey began with a question that changed my life: what if our homes could heal, rather than harm us?
After years working in high-pressure environments in the City, I became disconnected from nature, my health, and any real sense of purpose. My breaking point led me to travel, reflect, and eventually uncover ancient teachings — the Vedas — that reconnected me with a deeper truth: we are meant to live in harmony with the world around us.
That discovery lit a fire in me. When my newborn son became seriously ill from hidden mould in our home, it became personal. I realised how broken the housing system truly is — and how urgently it needs to change.
That’s why I created VEDA. To build differently. To create homes that are considered from the ground up — with clean materials, natural light, and integrity in every detail.
